Welcome to Loch & District Bowling Club
The volunteer run Loch and District Lawn Bowling Club is located at 24 Smith Street, Loch where bowlers of all levels are welcome. A relaxed atmosphere where members and visitors can enjoy a social or competitive game of bowls on our newly laid eight rink synthetic green. Our club is part of the Strzelecki Bowls Region and competes in both Midweek and Weekend Pennant competitions.
We are proud to be part of the Good Sports Program helping to inspire a healthy sporting environment while supporting Vic Health’s This Girl Can program for women. We also support the schools’ juniors bowling competition.
Wednesday night at 5:30pm is our Barefoot Bowls competition (during daylight savings) is always a fun night. Following the game, you can enjoy a complementary sausage sizzle with your teammates. Bowlers of all ages are welcome; you can either enter your own team or join another team that is looking for players.
Occasionally on Friday nights during the warmer months the kitchen is open where you can savor homemade burgers, wraps and other delicious meals while enjoying a drink from the bar. Check our Facebook page or calendar to find out ‘what's on’
At the heart of the club is our volunteers and sponsors, their willingness to help and ongoing support, ensures our club continues to prosper.
In the Spotlight
27th March 2026
Over the last 6 weeks, grade 5's and 6's from Loch Primary School have been training to compete in the South Gippsland Primary Schools Division Lawn Bowls. A squad of 12 excited boys and girls travelled to Cowes yesterday to play against other Primary Schools in the district.
Congratulations to all 12 bowlers for displaying great sportsmanship, teamwork and bowling skills. A huge congratulations to our competitive team of 6 bowlers, who had one draw and 3 wins to be the overall winner on the day. A huge achievement! The team now advance to the Primary School Gippsland Region Lawn Bowls to be played later in the year.
Well done to everyone involved at Loch Primary School and Rick Winters who coached and encouraged the children.

Congratulations to the grand final winners PDAH (Slimmer, Bonz and Dooley) Runners Up were the Falcons (Mal, Michael (worm) and Ralph). A fun night it was!

Burger & Bowls Friday Nights
Our club has a Burger and Bowls night and all are very welcome to come along. Enjoy a great meal and you can even have fun bowling. Barefoot Bowling is held during daylight savings time on Friday nights (check calendar or Facebook page to make sure it is on.)
Note: Burger and Bowls alternates with Finger food Friday nights
